We're looking for a dedicated Head of Sales to join our team and lead our sales efforts. This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates based in the NYC area. If you have a strong background in B2B sales, a deep understanding of geopolitical risks, and a knack for building strong relationships, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and implement the sales strategy for the company’s geopolitical risk data products, focusing on both new business acquisition and account growth.
  • Build and lead a high-performance sales team, providing mentorship, guidance, and training to ensure consistent results and personal growth.
  • Utilize CRM tools and sales data to track performance, analyze trends, and continuously refine sales processes.
  • Ensure the proper tracking of sales leads and contacts.
  • Identify and target key prospects in major US and global companies that could benefit from Strategy Risks data and business intelligence.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and ensuring successful customer onboarding.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-level decision-makers, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and research teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and product offerings, and provide valuable market feedback for product development.
  • Set and achieve ambitious revenue goals, meeting quarterly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications:
 
  • Proven track record with 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the data, analytics, or business intelligence sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Deep understanding of the geopolitical risk landscape, particularly related to China, and its application to various industries.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with experience engaging with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools to manage and optimize sales processes.
  • Start-up attitude: a can-do spirit, a willingness to work long hours, and an understanding of personal responsibility and quality control.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth and increase market share.
